Welcome to AnimePhilosopher. This site is not your ordinary fansite. Most anime sites will have some base information on a handful of anime and a bit of multimedia to pull more people in. AnimePhilosopher is dedicated to something different, an in depth look at anime, both in general and specific. You will find much more than your average anime site including:

• Exploring the historical references of anime
• Exploring the mythological references of anime
• Discussions on the philosophy and implications of specific anime
• Background on Japanese culture and tradition to help explain various anime

  and much more.

  Moreover, AnimePhilosopher is 100% ad-free, which means you shouldn't find any spy-ware, ad-ware, or annoying popups or popunders on our site. We will try to stay afloat on AnimePhilosopher merchandise (coming soon) rather than through ad revenue. The cost should be small enough to prevent us from ever needing ad revenue.

• Staff - This link will take you to a page letting you know about those who are working on the site: staff members and contributing members
• News - This link will take you to current anime news. We are not primarily a news site, but we will try to keep you up to date with current developments.
• Anime and Manga - This link will take you to various articles and exposes on anime and manga in general. This includes the history, how they're made, and themes common within anime and manga.
• Anime Specific - This link will take you to various sections dedicated to specific animes. Learn about Dragonball in depth, or Naruto, or perhaps Samurai Champloo. This may be slow in coming, but it will fill up.
• Japanese Culture - Learn about Japanese culture and begin to understand your anime better as a result. This is a must for an earnest anime fan.
• RPGs - This link will take you to our main site for various RPGs hosted by AnimePhilosopher. They are web-based free-form type up your post RPGs.... but the best around.
• Interviews - Hopefully this proves to be more than a pipe dream. If we have interviewed anyone important in the business, we will be posting them here.
• Anime Music Videos - We're trying to host videos for some good music video artists. These videos are theme-based, enjoy.
• Forums - AnimePhilosopher is not just a site, it is a community. Please feel free to create an account on our forum and discuss everything from Bleach to Politics to Religion.
